Some people need to talk a lot.
The stories come rambling out about topics and people unrelated to the listener.
That is ego-centrical behavior, all about themself.
It is inconsiderate and rude. It wastes other people's time.
That is usually private matters, to journal about, write in a diary, talk to God.
Some people allow talkers to ramble on and on.
They are too polite to stop them.
They wait until they run out of steam, which doesn't happen.
Some just listen a lot.
Rarely is there a genuine, caring dialogue back and forth.
To stop the talker, tell your own story, any story that is unrelated to them.
It seems they don't want to listen.
They will end the conversation.
Let them.
Quickly let go and say good bye.
