How to Give Yourself a Fantastic Foot Massage
Massage acupressure points vigorously to stimulate and improve
the
condition of the organs. Be gentle, firm and caring.
Step 1 - Rub one foot adequately.
- · Improves circulation
- · Relaxes foot
- · Massage one foot completely, then the other.
- · Do not neglect either foot, otherwise there will be a left right imbalance.
Step 2 - Massage the Achilles tendon.
- · Kidney, bladder meridians and reproduction organs run through here.
- · firmly, deeply
- · slow, gentle
- · probe tendon, heel
- · visualize breaking up stagnant energy
- · place foot firmly on the floor
Step 3 - Massage the top of the foot, the metacarpal.
- · from where the foot joins the leg
- · to the first 2 toes
- · deeply, firmly
Step 4 - Find the liver point
- · tendon in between first two toes
- · press deeply with thumb
- · may feel a sharp electric pain
- · do not over stimulate
- · massage deeply
- · imagine stagnant energy, in the liver, breaking up and releasing
Step 5 - Pull toes
- · turn the foot over
- · pull, bend toes of each foot
- · pull all toes at once
- · then individually
- · slightly rotate each toe to stimulate ki
Step 6 - Bottom of foot
- · pound the bottom of your foot
- · loosely closed fist
- · entire bottom
Step 7 - Kidney point
- · deeply massage the bubbling spring.
- · Number 1 point of the kidney meridian
- · use thumb
Step 8 - Acupressure points
- · massage the other points
When finished, repeat all steps for the other foot.
When:
You can massage your feet in bed as you awaken,
in the bath, while watching TV, or as you unwind for the evening.
Essential Oil:
Once in bed for the evening, dab peppermint essential oil
on the kidney points on the bottom of the feet.
This will stimulate the kidneys
and in turn helps prevent urination during the middle of the night
